When will you open preorders again?
I am unsure of when my schedule will be open enough to allow me to reliably complete orders on time. Any further shop updates will come through my emailing list or my twitter.
Do you ship internationally?
As of right now, no. I do hope to expand to international shipping in the future.
Are there any liquids that would stain your mugs?
Similar to commercial coffee mugs, if you leave colored liquids in them for a long time, like coffee or tea, it will leave some stains. If you wash them in a timely manner, the stains should be easily removed. I personally drink tea out of them daily, wash them immediately after and have had no staining issues.
If heavily colored drinks are regularly left in them for long periods of time, there is potential for permanent staining, as is the case for commercial items as well.
Will the designs on the mugs fade over time?
No they will not. Since it's all done in glaze, not an overglaze, the design is already fired and set into the mug's surface.
Why are preorder batches so small?
It's because I hand-throw, trim, and glaze everything myself. Everything is made from scratch, which requires a lot of time and energy from me. For this reason, I cannot do larger batches.
